Introduction of Journal

JIIRS is a peer-reviewed, open access journal, published biannually by Isra Institute of Rehabilitation Sciences, Isra University (Karachi Campus). This journal aims to cover most of the areas of rehabilitation sciences. Providing rehabilitation team/professionals a plat form to publish their research work.

Aims and Scope

The journal aims to publish the significant researches related to field of Rehabilitation and to yield the publication of leading scholarly and practice-based research. Also, to work with authors, the publisher and the wider community to increase the readership and enhance the reputation of the journal nationally and internationally. The journal intents to publish Open Access model to contribute to the body of knowledge in rehabilitation and to publish material that progress the evidence base for rehabilitation.

The journal focuses on publishing high quality evidence-based manuscripts from researchers related to different practitioners and policy makers which serve the needs of the diverse and international readership like Physiotherapy and Occupational therapy( orthopedic, neurology, pediatrics,cardiopulmonary, women health, geriatrics, integumentary, exercise physiology, biomechanics, kinesiology, sports), Physical Education, Speech therapy, Sociological and Psychological rehabilitation, rheumatology, Biochemistry, Pharmacology and Social Sciences. Manuscripts can be purely research-based or practice-based approaches. The journal promotes the knowledge sharing, mutual promotion of multidisciplinary science under one roof.
